I’m interested in the first two series in the transformation of reality, especially the interiority of the subject, its various facets, its cracks, its emotions and imperfection, but also the body as a “vehicle” and witness to the different emotions and cracks in the soul.
To bring out and capture this interiority, I used different materials, colors and framing, as well as a deconstruction of the body and faces against a black background. This latter aspect is very important because it isolates the character and places him or her and the center of my approach.
