Brest: Festival Pluie d’images

Preview

For Guillaume Rivière, everything flows, as his name suggests. He is at once a landscape photographer and a portrait artist of the human condition in the most remote corners of the planet. Since then, Rivière has toured the world, capturing it with his incisive gaze.

The Mojave desert is far from the misty mornings of the French valleys, but Rivière’s singular style makes his photographs immediately identifiable. With his controlled mastery of overexposure, Rivière turns each of his images into a magical window onto the world.
