The winner of the Scoop Pride Photo Award 2015 is the Italian photographer Marika Puicher for her series Ella (She) in the category Gender.
Eli is 11 years old and is a transsexual child. Since when he was two years old his parents noticed that their son felt like a little girl and that his biological sex conflicted with his psycological gender. Since early childhood, Eli loved female games and clothes and he secretly stole them from his cousins. At three his cousin gave him his first doll, called “guapa roja” ,and a pink princess dress.
