“As a photographer you are looking for the same emotional moments and design elements that might lead to an iconic image. The only différence is that in the ‘so called’ real world, you usually do not know what might happen next, but on a film set, if you have read the script you have a good idea what the next moments will bring“.
It’s how Steve Schapiro presents his exhibition at the Swedish Photography Museum in Stockholm.
Schapiro has a new book coming out in the fall which includes 150 black and white and color images that have never been published before.
