Andy Warhol art selfie. Andy was a forerunner, ahead of his time, with his Polaroid selfies taken in the 1970s. He took many selfies throughout his life. A wonderful collection of them is now on display at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

– Self-portraits and selfies: an online exhibition in several episodes on Lenscratch.com, organized by Grant Gill. For 2014, the plan is to ask photographers to share their self-portraits AND their selfies. The interesting thing is that the selfies are just as terrific as the self-portraits. They’re still accepting submissions no matter who you are, no matter what camera you use. We really liked Hanna Kozak et Jonas Yip (http://jonasyip.com/photography/gallery/self-imposed/).

A very intimate selfie: #aftersex is the latest hashtag on Instagram: the post-coital selfie. While modest, these portraits of happy couples approach the limits of self-exposure on the web.
