In 2015 the Rencontres d’Arles is offering an award to assist with the publication of a dummy book.Endowed with a €25,000 budget production budget, this new prize is open to all photographers and artists using photography who submit a dummy book that has never been published. Special attention will be paid to experimental and innovative editorial forms.
The application deadline is 31 May 2015. An international jury will choose the winner. The winner’s dummy book, as well as those of the nominees, will be on display this summer at Cosmos Arles Books, the new Rencontres d’Arles satellite dedicated to alternative editorial practices.The winner’s book will be produced in autumn 2015 and be presented at the 2016 Rencontres d’Arles.
