Head On Photo Festival : The Australians – My Pick
Portrait Work – George Fetting

Australian photographer George Fetting has had a love affair with photography all his life. “I blame my mother and the National Geographic subscription at the age of 10 for my decent into photography,” he says.

Over the past 25 years he’s worked as a features photographer for various newspapers and magazines both here and internationally. But personal work has always played an important part in Fetting’s photographic education and it is this work that’s on show at Head On’s Hub.

The exhibition, Portrait Work, features an eclectic group of images that Fetting has taken on his world travels. He says he’s always been drawn to documenting interesting characters and this exhibition is a sample of the images he’s made over the years.
