Second component of the Planche(s) Contact festival, the Louis Roederer Foundation student competition welcomes ten students* each year for a photographic residence, from three of the best European photography schools in 2015.
As guest festival photographers, they each imagine a personal project, based on their visual universe and integrating one of the facets of a city that they discover. Their work is exhibited throughout the festival at the Franciscans and submitted to a jury, chaired by Bettina Rheims.
The City of Deauville award is endowed by the Louis Roederer Foundation and bestowed by the Planche(s) Contact jury**. The latter met Saturday, October 24 to choose the winner of the 2015 edition. It is Anna Broujean, student at ENSP (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arles). A grant of €5,000 and a commissioned exhibit for the next edition of Planche(s) Contact are attributed to the winner. At the end of the festival, (his/her) photographic prints will join the public and photographic collection of the city of Deauville.
