The exhibition in Valladolid, Spain, brings together 75 works of the imaginary universe of Paolo Ventura: a fantasy game of explosion in potentially true reality. His enigmatic circus is crowded with bizarre protagonists: acrobats, soldiers of the Second World War, balloon sellers, automatons, tightrope walkers, anarchists, clowns, lovers and magicians. In the works presented in the exhibition Short Stories, War Stories and Winter Stories, Paolo Ventura takes us into his world, but he doesn’t give us a unique interpretation. His stories are allusions suspended in time that shift our perception and involves usin his subtle play, leaving full autonomy to view freely.
