Daniel Michelon, Esther

Preview

“Esther”, it ‘s the portrait of an old woman lost in the deep forest. An expiatory loneliness under the glance of her God. Timeless images which could be taken anywhere in Europe, Canada or in the United States.  By making the portrait of a person many things can be learned on oneself or on lifes.  One evening of this summer 2016, my case stow away , sitting next to Esther, we were looking by the open door at the hot light of the evening . The sun lighted faintly the golden grasses which waves under the breeze. Then with a serene face, staring to the distance, she told me: “you know, I ‘m a privileged person”. I didn’t answered but I said to myself that sometimes life gives us a lesson in living at the most unexpected time.
