“Even if one can discern territories – Paris, Cherbourg, Limousin, east coast of the United States – the exhibition brings together disparate works in their forms as in their subjects.
Its coherence is not that of a “style”, but a way of thinking and doing. It proceeds by rhymes, disjunctions, ricochets, sometimes years away, from one work to another, and often inside the works themselves. It is to this play, at once childish and learned, that the viewer is in his turn invited.
